Mr Tongogara is a specialist in Electronics and Information Communication Technology. During earlier years in his career, he worked as an Electronics Technician at Parirenyatwa and Harare Hospitals specialising in Hospital Equipment. He further deepened electronics knowledge by joining Ziscosteel
to major in industrial electronics. Mr Tongogara later joined Hwange Colliery and rose to become an Executive Manager Information and communication Technology, a post he held for ten years before opting for voluntary retrenchment in 2017. Mr Tongogara,also worked for a number of Organisations which include, , ZESA, Masvingo Polytechnic and Harare Institute of Technology in different capacities. Tongogara holds the following qualifications: Masters in Business Administration, HND Computers, FTC Electrical Engineering and several management Diplomas.
